Embrace

This piece was a little experiment of mine. I had seen an artist on Instagram that did this sort of thing where it was obviously missing a person in the piece, and I wanted to give it a try. He also did neat designs on his, but it was different from my own in that his was very detailed and he had n original outline. I changed it up into my own sort of style. I also used color to show shadow, since the lines weren't doing enough of that in my opinion. My artist is Dominic Dopeyre, and he posts his art on his Instagram @dominic.dopeyre which is very similar in concept to mine because I got the idea from him. For the most part I love how this piece turned out. The only part I need to work on is the missing hand on the right. I did sketch out the hand as a whole to make sure it would look right, but it doesn't look very realistic without the actual hand's details.
