Water Nymph Progress

This piece is in progress. It is meant to show the emotion of belief, and it depicts a water nymph. Her skirt will become the water she is in. The most important part of this piece will be the light sources. The white dots and meant to be specks of magic, which each serve as their own small light source. This will provide stark contrasts on her skin and any other colorful parts of the piece. I was inspired to do this piece when looking at Amy Brown's pieces depicting fairies, but I wanted to do a different fantasy creature, so I chose this. Another art piece that helped me create this concept was Jonathon Earl Bowser, who did the piece below which I drew inspiration from in how the skirt becomes the water.
